To kill or not to kill

There is a Daddy long leg spider suspended behind my headboard on my bed. Its been typically on the ceiling AWAY from me but now has moved so close. I hate killing anything but can't get a cup in that angle to catch it/release. I tried and it jumped then I jumped. Ughhh. Maybe I will spray water on it? I could barely sleep last night. Ideas?

I'd just leave it alon. Harvestmen, as daddy long legs are actually called, are relatively harmlessnto humans and pets, he'll just help control your bugs.

@NativePortlander1970 But I subconsciously feared it going on me while I slept..even though I know it won't harm me. It could potentially walk on ne..although it has stayed in this spot two days straight now. And a month in the ceiling corner! I guess i could just hope again it stays put but I just hate anxiety while falling asleep.
