Aol as kids

That's how I met my sons dad. A few of my friends that I still know. Don't y'all miss aol days????

I was on CompuServe and eventually switched to AOL. Very community based services, was easy to find and chat with people, play games, etc.

Lot more options today and I think that dilutes or makes less investment needed in any one service.

I do miss the friends I made playing online games before graphics were a thing.

I avoided AOL like the plague, haha. I did like reformatting and using all the free floppy disks they mailed us and I had aim for a messenger and that was about it. I used MSN chatrooms though. Which were similar
