Do you think TV will ever be phased out?

I mean, how many people actually watch TV these days?

Internet and streaming seems to be the thing these days

There will always be a segment but it's shrinking. Streaming is so much better. My grandparents still have their satellite but have gradually began to use streaming.
@deadgerbil private torrents sites are best ;) everything is free and clean
Not within the next 5 years, but probably within our generation.
My dad likeee commercials and all
I think it’s time to get death race 2000 up and running.
The next level of home entertainment

It's effectively the same, just different forms of delivery.

If broadcast TV is killed off by the wretched streaming services, though, we will all be the poorer for it.
Not while the CEO of the BBC has a hole in his butt.

They can't tax us if we have no access to their shit.

@HootyTheNightOwl I take it you know nothing about any of the BBC's output - and it does not call its head a "Chief Executive Officer".

You mean cable television, very soon. I can see TV's being more powerful than our computers now in the future

No because it's for if there's war and if no internet you have nothing. So with tv they know what's going on

@Lilnonames That's a pretty good point 🤔
