I would get bored without it more often, but I would find other ways to occupy my time.

I grow more concerned about how I would support myself without the internet. I'm heavily disabled. I can't just take up a factory job or even stock shelves in a grocery store. I'd need to go back to school to take up something like psychology and hope I could get work. Or try to get disability.

We had a complete power outage just the other night the whole area was dark.
No lights, no internet, it was was kind of cool just to sit outside and listen to the quiet.

I'm in my mid-70s. I manged for half a century without it.

Just thinking about that possibility gives me the shakes... 😨

If not for work long time

I lived most of my life without it. I wouldn't miss it. 99% of what is on it is a total waste of time.

Oh my god, if the internet got cancelled, I'd have to start hanging out at the mall again... or hiding at the library gossiping in real time with like-minded friends... 🫩

Forever. I wasn't born into the internet age. I was 21 when I first started using it.

As long as it takes to come back on I try to think of backups.

Until I needed it for official business. Otherwise I could manage without it.
