Why is it so hard to make friends here?

Well, Ive just joined this site, although I was on EP for many years. I had many friends with different interests and actually met my wife there. We had a beautiful 10 year marriage before she lost a battle with cancer.
My advice is be patient and sort through the creeps and weirdos that proliferate these sites. There will be good people here.

It can be sometimes but don't give up. Just keep posting and replying to posts.

Because this site is anonymous playful banter, which has a lot of catfish and fakes, so everyone guard is up or they're not taking anything seriously
