Just wait until Amazon start with their comically dangerous idea about flying drone deliveries! Fortunately in the UK the CAA rules at the moment say the drones can only fly in the line of site 🤣. So the Amazon would rock up in your street, stop deploy the drone and fly it too your house. Hooray another victory for Amazon !! If Amazon had their way there would be drones filling the the sky's with high value goods buzzing above our heads with overworked unpaid staff filling them. Until criminals see an opportunity and start trying to steal them by knocking them out of the sky! Unfortunately someone will get killed by a falling drone and the board of Amazon will do everything to divert the blame for a stupid childish idea.

I wonder how well these companies compare with regular ones, and with the couriers like DPD, for customer service?
They are all noted, or notorious, to differing extents for very sloppy delivery service; partly due in the UK at least of enforcing working conditions on their drivers and warehouse staff that are only just meet, or even over-step, the law.

They said the left a parcel with next door as i was not home. They put it on there door step as they was not home also. It was there all day until they came home and took it in

@nevergiveup We never used to have these sort of problems when it was mainly just Royal Mail. Other carriers were set up for commercial deliveries within office hours. Yes, sometimes items were lost or delayed in the post but they never abandoned parcels on door-steps, at mercy of thieves or bad weather. They take them back to the local sorting-office whence you can collect them or arrange a new delivery.

Get the tracking number from them. Call amazon and file a claim on that package(its free) and tell them you want a proof of delivery for that package. Takes awhile but they should do something about it within 60 days

Well, send it!

Reminds me of when I had a car stolen. The geniuses at Allstate wanted to come by my house, and I said "Why? So you can see that the car isn't here??"

@uncalled4 I had Allstate for the longest time, until they ripped me off. Oh yeah, let me tell you the story, I'll try to keep it short.
So I think I was paying $62 a month for car insurance and then it jumped to $65 for no reason. I hadn't had any car accidents or any tickets. So I decided to keep an eye on it. When it jumped to $72 dollars, I decided to give them a call and find out why it increased so much.
So I get this guy on the phone and after saying all the intro stuff I said, "so just wondering why my insurance went up.". The guy literally responds with this, "What's the price of your hamburgers?"
I said, "uhhhhh.... what?". And he says, "You go out to eat don't you?". I said, "no, not really". And he goes like all mad, "Well... everything's going up in price!!". I said oh, ok and ended the call.
I said eff this. So I called State farm and they quoted me at $32 a month and when I asked about random price increases they said only time my insurance would go up is in an accident or a ticket.
So I got car insurance through state farm. Called Allstate to cancel that policy. They said, "Well you need insurance before you can cancel". I said, I got insurance with state farm. So they said they had to make a copy of it to cancel and I said okay see you in 5.
Drove over to Allstate in 5 minutes, as I was leaving I'm super super nice as always, "You guys have a great day now" and not one response back. They were pissed. Yeah well I was pissed my rate increases year after year for no reason.
Now fast forward, my rate with state farm is $29 a month. IT ACTUALLY DECREASED!! 👍👍👍. So I just see Allstate as the biggest rip off. Friend of mine, his Allstate just increased for no reason as well.

Looks like one of those sex toys
I have never had to show photographic evidence in the three times I called in about missing packages that the USPS carrier claimed was delivered. One time they gave me a refund and told me to keep the package because their own database showed they sent the wrong color than what I ordered, then sent me the correct item at no charge anyways, it was only a $20 instant read meat thermometer.
