This is what I dont get about the internet...

I think they are using you or whoever. The get bored or lonely and come around, then they go back to their rl.

@PaleandPolluted it is hard to understand somebody in an relationship who blows hot and cold as this becomes very confusing and hard work

Maybe they just don't login a lot. I try to space out my SW logins to avoid over sharing. When I joined I was on every day. But felt invisible so now I space out my SW usage till I just can't take it anymore. I don't directy interact with many but I have noticed some days some people more on my feed and on others diff people. So I end up just blabbing and posting replies off my feed.

I worry about this too, but from the other perspective. I’d hate for anyone to think I was using them because that isn’t the case, it’s that I have so much to do IRL I can only spend so much time here. I don’t lead anyone on, I like to keep things chatty but not too deep, because I don’t want to upset anyone.

It takes a long time for me to build genuine interest, then when I do I can't just simply shut it off.. at times I really wish I could

What I have learned about internet and people... mostly nothing real in connections is going to happen.
I've met one person I first met on internet and it was really awesome. :)
Otherwise, most aren't looking or expecting anything real or lasting. It's a game and I don't play it anymore. I don't believe in things quite the way I use to, especially since being on this site.
