The internet is a critical service

We are too reliant upon technology. I wasn't much bothered by it. It is a reminder for me to have a stash of cash with me. My cell worked. I was at my son's as I worked all weekend so we watched a DVD. I had taken my old radio home so no music. There are still problems. It is a lesson to us, to the world, that we should heed.

Our reliance on the Internet is only going to get worse.

With CV dropping now largely discouraged, the unemployed either need Internet at home or they have to travel to a public building to spend 8 hours a day looking for work.

While some Internet providers have caught on and started to offer cheaper rates to those on unemployment benefit, there's still a monopoly on how many companies you can switch to and get the discount if you fall behind on your bills.

That was nasty! Luckily, out west here, Telus was still up and running.

This made me think , I need a stash of cash, it’s not been on the news here in uk yet its interesting knowing what’s going on in the world

Yes, we have been relying on the Internet for more than 2 decades. There is no life without the Internet. I challenge everyone to find an activity that will not be crippled without the Internet.

Not the first time would couldn't use our debit credit cards. During the Trucker Convoy all the banks went off line and unless you had money in your pocket you were not buying much.
