The internet is a critical service

so...I never realized just how much we rely on the internet until services for a lot of Canadians went out on Friday. The provider blamed it on a maintenance issue, but WOW 🙄

We are too reliant upon technology. I wasn't much bothered by it. It is a reminder for me to have a stash of cash with me. My cell worked. I was at my son's as I worked all weekend so we watched a DVD. I had taken my old radio home so no music. There are still problems. It is a lesson to us, to the world, that we should heed.
