In fairness, there are SOME things that've gotten better. No more Beanie Baby nonsense, for instance. Or "ate my balls" web pages. And the modern-day air hand-dryers will actually dry your hands, even if they're painfully loud.
Other than that, though... yeah, I can relate. But I'd suggest making it 1997 instead, so we can still play Jedi Knight.
