Personally I find this kind of language toxic. Everyone wants to feel safe and cared for irrespective of their sex. It's not a male or female quality to provide that but rather a reflection of the person, irrespective of their sex . What about same sex relationships for example? The whole femine/masculine rhetoric feels like rebranded sexism tbh

@PepsiColaP I get that. The placement of “women” here is a generalization, but it’s why I added that it was true of me. I’m sure there’s some women who it doesn’t define and there’s even some pressure for a man to up his level of manhood to live up to that level wanted by some women. It’s not meant to go that deep though.

@TheOneyouwerewarnedabout The guys I’ve encountered are seriously adamant in being able to open their own jars, even the ones I can’t open even though a little tap on the counter does the trick.
