Do you remember when every day used to have its own identity?

I remember when Fridays used to feel like Fridays. It had an identity to it. You could feel it. Sundays especially used to feel unique. Everything slowed down, you woke up to the smell of bacon and eggs in the morning, and traffic was at a crawl. It felt like the world just...stopped even if just for a day. Sundays used to be my favorite day of the week. Now it feels like any other day.

Every day feels the same.

Anyway, thanks for reading and responding if you choose to.

Sunday was for NFL football. Saturday afternoons were for high school football.

@ChipmunkErnie I thought Friday nights were High school football, Saturdays were college football, and Sundays were professional football. Am I wrong?

@powernap These days, yes -- but when I was growing up high school football was played on Saturday afternoons and no one would have thought of spending all the money for lighting night games for high school sports.
