I do try to be a man. I've been FORCED to be a man in some situations...
But I dunno, being a kid sometimes can be so liberating.😁

Yes It is defo good to put away childish things when we are grown adults. A childish adult hasn't grown or matured if they still behave childishly. It seems like stagnation, to me.
But being and feeling young at heart and to keep that playful spark alive, I see as a good thing, nothing to do with childish.

I think it is a good thing to look at the World with new eyes;to keep an open mind before judging anything🤷♂️
I think the words were directed to the Church at Corinth, which was having a "Falling Down " moment
I found this on Google,If you read the context the meaning is clear. Paul is talking about how the partial passes away, and in its place something more permanent forms. Just as childish thoughts fade and become their more permanent, adult forms, so too will our earthly thoughts and desires fade and become their heavenly, true forms. Impermanent qualities are also contrasted with love, which Paul says never dies.

I think I was more mature when I was a kid. I gave people the benefit of the doubt and more patience back then. Nowadays I'm more likely to just tell people to f off. 🤷

I keep childlike close, because it is a vault that guards joy. I dress up what's left of my childishness with colons, semicolons, and ellipses, which fools enough people to keep me happy.
