When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child, When I became a man. I put the ways of childhood behind me

Have you stopped behaving and thinking like you did when you were younger? And is it a good or bad thing to do to put childish things away forever.~ the Bible.

I think it is a good thing to look at the World with new eyes;to keep an open mind before judging anything🤷‍♂️

I think the words were directed to the Church at Corinth, which was having a "Falling Down " moment

I found this on Google,If you read the context the meaning is clear. Paul is talking about how the partial passes away, and in its place something more permanent forms. Just as childish thoughts fade and become their more permanent, adult forms, so too will our earthly thoughts and desires fade and become their heavenly, true forms. Impermanent qualities are also contrasted with love, which Paul says never dies.
