Some days I am very thankful that I am retired.

I had some dental issues that started last Thursday evening. Monday morning I finally got to see the dentist. She took care of everything and it felt really good to be able to go home and rest. Sleeping in this morning was pretty good too. Times like this make me very happy that I am retired and don't have to worry about work. Especially when I just feel miserable.

My work week thus far:

Monday - all day golfing
Tuesday - arrive at the office 9 am. Worked like the devil, left at 4 pm. 90 minute lunch with a friend
Today - office at 10 am, at lunch now after a conference call.

Not sure how I'd handle retirement. I think it would be great for the first couple months.

@Stereoguy yes your right but it’s not happening yet, price of all used cars as shot up here, some are selling for same price as a new car because of new car shortage, one of our lads just sold his car for more than he paid for it 2 years ago!! Worlds going mad !!

I hear you. I am waiting for a call from the doctors office right now. Telehealth. I can barely function, and I cancelled the cleaning lady so I could sleep in.

With the Pandemic, I would hate to wear a K95 mask all the time.
I refuse to acquire long Covid.

I never have the problem.
I always wear mine to the grocery store and just got my booster. I believe that God taught us to be prudent. 🙂
