How do you know if you're ugly?
Haven't been with a woman in years that's not a good sign. I don't want a girlfriend or sex or anything like that but sometimes it would be nice to sleep next to someone.

Well, we tend to work out over time where we fit on the scale of mass appeal. Some people are always getting hit on and for some it rarely ever happens, if ever. So that tells you something, but it doesn't tell you specifically if you are physically unappealing or whether there is some other quality about you that puts people off. You can be attractive but timid, nervous, awkward, intimidating, etc. You can be of average looks and have those qualities too, meaning that you could quite likely get dates if you didn't have those other qualities. It's pretty hard to say definitively. Then there is the fact that a hundred people might find you of less than average looks whereas a few would find you attractive. All are possibilities.
What's most important is that you try to be more than the sum of your perceived limitations. That's the best that any of us can do. It doesn't serve us to accept the worst about ourselves and in turn accept defeat.
