Define ugly …. One persons ugly is another person beautiful !! Be kind!

You would need to find a way to move beyond your perceived limitations. That would likely mean utilising other strengths to make up for any deficits. Personality and confidence are strengths, as is having a well balanced and healthy lifestyle and being self sufficient. Above all you need to avoid sinking into negativity and self pity because, while understandable, they will only keep you down.

There are many theories about why certain people end up together. But then you see conflicting situations.

So really, there isn't much rhyme nor reason for who partners.

People use that cliche "Work on yourself" but if we feel we are not good enough now, it is not likely we will feel like we are "good enough" later. The time to live is now, not after hitting some arbitrary goal.

For romance, I think most people end up having to settle while trying to convince themselves that the situation isn't that bad.
