This segment of Beyond Belief triggered me badly

To give a brief summary, it's about an "ugly" woman who laments being single and gets made fun of for her looks (by other grown-ass adults), but manages to save a beautiful woman being hit on by a pushy guy, so the woman shows her gratitude by doing her makeup for her. The so-called ugly lady suddenly becomes appreciated by everyone for her looks and her life turns around. When she meets the woman who did her makeup again, however, that woman has since become disfigured with burn scars are on her face from an accident, as if she had exchanged her looks for the other woman's.
As someone who used to look pretty until health issues scarred up my face with radiotherapy burns, this hit close to home. The story ended up being a work of fiction, but still
