I was 18.

But I did not get a birth certificate until I was 28!!

@Jenny1234 so there you get passports without birth certificate and so how did you get your driver's license?

@Donotfolowme we used baptismal certificate to get all our identification. I might be wrong, but I think it’s just Quebec that never gave out birth certificates until the 1990s. I think the rest of Canada gave out birth certificate certificates.
