Becareful whom you let in to the most vunerable parts of you

Those sensitive and deeply wounded parts of yourself take longer to heal then you think ....just becareful once those wounds you thought were healed they reopen again and you have to start all over again to heal..you learn in the end it's just not worth it .....this comes from a,place of care and concern for everyone...

What really bothers me is people like therapists or councilors will tell you to let it out don't be ashamed ,don't feel guilty .The abusers tell you never speak of it ,keep it inside ,people won't believe you or will blame you or use it to hurt you The abusers are right sadly. The only safe place is a place of silence.

@kodiac I found out in counseling that talking about things didn't make me feel better. All I really needed was practical solutions to real problems. I have had to find those for myself.

@SW-User Yup i got tired of being told how i should feel ,instead of getting answers for how i do feel.

@kodiac If there is one thing that gets me really angry it is people telling me how I 'should' feel.

@SW-User Exactly. I don't see emotions themselves as good or bad; what matters most is how we deal with them and how we interact with others.
