Why did I buy a pack of cigarettes??

@NickiHijab I used to be on a website for people who had either quit smoking or were trying to quit.

The members who were most proud of their "quit" were the same ones who smoked weed.

I didn't dare say anything but the fact is - smoking weed is no better than smoking tobacco. In both cases it is setting a plant on fire and inhaling the smoke.

@CestManan Tobacco does more harm to your body than weed does. Weed can also have healing properties for many different conditions.
Is it possible to misuse it? Yes. But setting a plant on fire and inhaling smoke isn't always unhealthy unless you become reliant.

@CestManan true, there's still tar going into your lungs, but weed has fewer carcinogens. I mean, if smoking weed did what cigarettes do to you, Willie Nelson and Cheech and Chong would've died ages ago.

It probably isn't "as" bad as cigarettes but still not good.
Of course, we all rationalize and make excuse for our own bad habits.

@CestManan weed isn't addictive. This has been proven. Many smoke weed with cigarettes. Which is addictive. High consumption of weed can lead to psychosis. But this has not been scientifically proven.

It has been proven that smoking weed at a young age. Can lead to or highlight mental health issues. But this is in younger growing brains.

If you consume anything in high consumption it will affect you and your mind. Much like alcohol or caffeine. Which are addictive.

Hope this rationalises, and puts things in perspective.

@Gangstress I do not mind if others smoke weed or use other drugs, I just am not into that lifestyle and don't like being around it.

Kind of like how some people don't want us cigarette smokers around.
