I Am Not Perfect

I am not perfect. I don't claim to be. Nor do I want to be. Perfection I think it unrealistic. Its better to be SMART about it. Specific, Measurable, Accurate, Realistic and Time.

SMART goals are the way to go. There are so many things, that we can do, to improve, but most of us can only focus on one thing at a time and it must be specific and on time there is only so much of it, but we can always take accurate and realistic action to set the course for change or improvement, because in some ways we are always gonna be the same but if improved for the better? Then, isn't that a good thing?

We can't change our personalities, we can improve on it, grow it more, let it flourish. We are always gonna have flaws. And thats ok. Because flaws, is a natural occurrence, it happens, and its needed because it's what makes us human. All of us from time to time end up making some mistakes, but we learn from it. We grow from it.

A part of success is failure. A part of success is trial and error. And whilst practice makes perfect, we are always practicing, trying out something new, learning. Or at least, that's what most of us do I think.

I think myself a good person, but I have done some stupid shit in the past, some things makes me cringe, something's are embarrassing, something's were childish.

When we look in the past, I think at times, we find to be kicking ourselves, "oh why did I say that", but that reflection is good I think, because it allows us to be self-critical when its needed, its recognising the mistake, making notes for the future, for whatever situation.

Anyway, every good thing about any given person is no doubt built on, our setbacks and our misdeeds. There is good and bad in us all. No one is perfect, but we can strive to be, and little by little we can begin to thrive and live a bit more merrily.
