one way to look at it is among the number of girls you talk to in a year, only a fraction will lead to something (girlfriend, friend, FWB, one night stand). so the idea is to talk to many girls and just take a chance. I have many female friends because I just talk to girls all the time. I have a girlfriend, and I would never be unfaithful, but I love making female friends. I have a friend, he looks amazing, he's tall, but he's been alone for years because he never tries !!!

i can understand, i have a similar history and would like a life partner too...but i'm always advised not to act too eager or desperate because it scares the girls off, so as hard as it is, try to play it cool if you can and remember your worth, you are just as good as any girl you interact with.
