Here's a weird statistic to ponder:

There's a lot of demographics lacking to make any statistical use of these numbers, like age, where they live etc.
That said, your knee-jerk jump conclusion, no matter how reasonable you try to state it shows your transphobia. People around here will be aware of how to read your posts in the future, thank you.

Pretty sure that means that they're just lesbians.

@Emjay where do you come to this conclusion that it’s sexually motivated
Emjay · 18-21, F
@DeluxedEdition 20x the normal rate of same sex attraction could be thought due to being born male, but I don't buy that explanation. It would require male and female hard wiring to share the same brain.

Could you provide a link to your source?

@FragileHeart The first sentence I pasted
FragileHeart · 22-25, M
Of the trans women respondents 27% answered gay, lesbian, or same-gender-loving, 20% answered bisexual, 19% heterosexual, 16% pansexual, 6% answered asexual, 6% queer, and 6% did not answer.
Queer people do tend to not label themselves exclusively straight cause sexuality is a spectrum.
And you should clarify that your interpretation of the findings is not the one the study made.

@FragileHeart Only the first sentence was relevant to the post, and I was clear about what were my thoughts, posting them in a separate paragraph as well.

some psychologists think that transgenderism is the physical manifestation of dissociation. Someone was so traumatized or abused to such an extreme degree that the only way they found to cope was to let their former self die and become someone else
I also believe this
and I don’t believe transgender people go through their change to be closer to women or to have a chance or sleeping with them
