I notice that it is likely you will start treatment soon. So, whether you like it or not, there will ultimately be significant physical changes that you will not be able to hide forever. I don't know you, but have you considered that your parents have already wondered? Mannerisms, manner of dress etc., are often unconscious signals that are evident to others no matter how hard you try to hide it. It may be possible to broker a conversation to gauge their attitudes by casually referring to something like the Ru Paul shows. I know that the show is just full of appalling superficial stereotypes, but their reaction may be positive; this will give you something to work on. Good luck and God Bless. X
