I don't think I'll ever have the courage to tell my parents I'm trans

I notice that it is likely you will start treatment soon. So, whether you like it or not, there will ultimately be significant physical changes that you will not be able to hide forever. I don't know you, but have you considered that your parents have already wondered? Mannerisms, manner of dress etc., are often unconscious signals that are evident to others no matter how hard you try to hide it. It may be possible to broker a conversation to gauge their attitudes by casually referring to something like the Ru Paul shows. I know that the show is just full of appalling superficial stereotypes, but their reaction may be positive; this will give you something to work on. Good luck and God Bless. X

I never had to tell my family that im trans. My body and face changed in a year. I dont look the same as i did before after a year of hormones. Im 44 now also.. 3+ years on hrt. Its really this.. you do you. you be yourself at any cost at the end if it all thats is what matters.
