When I first meet people yes and if I sense hostility.

Only when I was a child or a teen not as an adult.

It seriously depends on how I'm feeling. It'a all mental.

When I get very depressed I withdraw and feel shy. But other times I am outspoken and ready to engage with everyone.

The introverted part of me is and I'd much rather hide behind a keyboard to meet people. The extroverted side of me is a show off but it doesn't help meeting people. I'm a contradiction.

Yes. I have Social Anxiety Disorder (SAD) to go along with my GAD and C-PTSD. I take meds for it so I'm a lot better now but I used to be totally withdrawn at times.

Definitely, for some reason, I sometimes can't say a word out of sheer fear of being embarrassed, while at other times, I speak like there's no tomorrow 😬
