If as alleged, we did it once, if not more times, what’s suddenly behind this desire to go back?

They’re setting up a series of lenses so they can project advertising on the lunar surface that will be visible from earth with the naked eye. @soar2newhighs

@soar2newhighs i guess to make amilitary base up there ot fire misiles at russia/china,
@itsoeasy Sorry, but I’m not quite understanding what you are trying to say.
@itsoeasy it took me a second. I doubt that is the intention. We have many capabilities to effectively go after adversaries without going to the moon to delevop military installations. That’s my opinion as a U.S. veteran.
@soar2newhighs Something to ponder: If we went to the moon more than once, wouldn’t they think that if they could land people on the moon repeatedly, couldn’t the prospect of militarizing it be looked at? Too many years have gone by. Something is off, IMO.

@soar2newhighs yes, but the military is always trying to think of new weapons, even if they arent needed, my fear is they will build a military base on the moon, other wise why are they going there
@itsoeasy Well, you could be correct, but what after all these years would prompt that? But then too, Dwight D. Eisenhower warned of the military/ industrial complex. We never seem to learn. If a war comes of an atomic nature, the moon will not be part of it.
