Uhm excuse me can y'all keep the noise down here please??

Not a problem! I know when to shut up, yes ma’m! You don’t have to tell me twice! I can take a hint, yes siri-bob! Consider your request granted! Not another peep, you got it! Not another sound shall you hear! When someone needs me to be quiet, I know exactly when to pipe down. Why just the other day my aunt Margret.. you remember Margaret, right? From the picnic last year? Sure you do! She was the one with the pink parasol, remember? Of course you do! No one can forget that woman…what a hoot! Anyway, the poor ol’ thing suddenly got a terrible headache right in the middle of our chat! The poor sweet dear, came down to the pain not ten minutes after her eyes had glazed over! She should really have that looked at…I notice a lot of people get that glassy look though…might be a bug goin’ around or something! Anyway, she told me she had that headache and she didn’t not have to tell me twice to be quiet…I can read the room, and know just when to pipe down! In fact, just a half hour later as I was leaving she looked so very grateful that I understood.

Anyway, like I was saying, you can count on a quiet night ahead, indeedy deed you can! Ol’ Zaph can take a hint with the best of them! Silent as a church mouse, that’s me! Although I do wonder why a mouse living in a church would be any quieter than a mouse in a normal house? I mean, really, with less people around 6 days a week you’d think they’d be partying it up. I mean, there’s even a supply of bread and wine on hand in most of them! But, yes, like I was saying, silent as a mouse, church or otherwise! 🤐
