I Love Snail Mail

No one gets personal letters anymore. But the next best thing is a package from Amazon in my mail box, with a book I preordered months ago and forgot all about. A present to future me.

Nice. But...*oh shut up Sara* ... but... paper?? really??

@76starships Idk, communicating via dead trees just seems so... twentieth century to me! 😉

@sarabee1995 I still love reading books in dead tree form, you can keep your kindle or e-books.

@KiwiBird 🤦🏼‍♀️

Letters would be fun to send

@ChiyoSKL It's a lost art, I think. My grandmother was the last person in my life who communicated through letters and postcards.

Heck, even the long form email is also a dying art.

Everybody asks for my snap or kik because they want instant replies. The one time I did hand it out I was getting blown up, i prefer the slower direct messages on here. @76starships

@ChiyoSKL Yeah, I get the same with people wanting to Kik. Instant gratification and no need for complete sentences. I prefer a good paragraph.

I love receiving snail mail so much more personal. Someone has actually thought of you and sat down to write to you.

Snail mail is cool but I always think my letter will get lost in the mail or something
