I wanna know ...... what's the WEIRDEST thing you have ever taken from a hotel stay? For me ..... miniature salt/pepper shakers. I included my larger salt and pepper grinders for size reference. LOL
Lol i have a set of those from a resort. I have a makeup mirror I got from one. I didnt steal it though; I told the manager I loved it and he said they were getting ready to remodel and I could have it. I love that thing.
I'm bar klepto, I've taken quite a few beer glasses over the years! But, in my defense, I did tell the waitress I was taking them, and tipped very well for her to look the othervway! Lol
@Fullmetal You're so very much welcome, think of them as the little ketchup cups you get st some fast food places by the soda dispenser, but a bit larger, and either plastic or ceramic.
I only take consumables, like the tiny bars of soap they are phasing out. I bring my own products but my kids live when i bring back the tiny ones for them.
However, I have once bought something from a small hotel. It was an old text-book of interest to me, among many used as both decoration and something for guests to read, in the bar. So I asked if I may buy irt!
I suspect I've left far more in accommodations than I've taken. I can't think of anything I've taken from a hotel/motel/virbo et al. I suppose it never occurs to me. oh unless you include like the tiny sewing repair things or soaps or something.
@eyeno I was at a 4 star motel in fla and they had a list like this only bath robes were 150.00 i didn't get one but they were to best i had ever used ,very luxurious.lol a bottle of water was 5.00 cost 1.19 in store next door lol
just hte opened shampoo bottle. figure they are throwing it out (cause opened) anyway. Many of them are like art galleries though---take lots of lobby pictures and sometimes pictures of their hanging art. Lot of ceiling shots if a high lobby
Yeah like in the movies you know the nice bathrobe and customized pins and cool shit yeah of course I even keep the room keys sometimes as a reminder if it was a real fun stay
