Like many restaurants, Trucker's Cafe in Dallas is closed for business on Mondays. But the owner, Paulette Johnson, offers free meals to the homeless on Mondays. And, during the week, she brings unused food to homeless shelters rather than throwing it away.
I wonder if she has one of those boards where people can buy a meal for a homeless person and pin the receipt to the board so that the homeless person can choose a meal and take it to the till to be made up.
