does anyone ever worry about being homeless

I was homeless cuz of a bad situation and i lived in shelters added all together bout 9 months i had the battered womens shelter and the YMCA but i wouldnt trade it for the world! I appreciate showers and washing machines so much more now and obvi the healthy food and soooooo much more

When i aged out of foster care i became homeless on my 18 birthday. It really wasn't that new to me as i had lived on the streets several times before .I learned a lot about people, alot about homeless people ,some would take your last dime ,others would give their last time . Thankfully i found a way out after a year or so . Being homeless is a lot harder in places that have severe winters.

It's definitely something I worry about. It's very difficult for me to work full time because of PTSD, and even my therapist seems hesitant for me to apply for aid because they reject so many unless you have a physical issue. And they reject those too. So I'm really worried how I can make rent on only part time work. It's just another constant worry I have.

Of course i think about it and I just pray that it never happens. You never know where you will end up. I am so sorry that you lived through that. My fear is the golden years if i live to be 70 or 80 i think about surviving.
