Saw something so sad yesterday

At the subway station a guy was doing what I’ve heard called the fentanyl stand where they are standing up but full bent over at the waist.

He hasn’t bathed or washed his clothes in a long time. The skin on his back was grey somehow. The waist band of the back of his pants was filthy from unmentionable stuff. He was just all skin and bones

definitely not the first person like this I’ve ever seen, but it was definitely the saddest and most neglected I’ve ever seen

It’s so heartbreaking to see because that’s someone’s son and brother no matter what the age
It really is heartbreaking. So often when I see addicts I think, “”that was once someone’s beloved baby.”

Sad…

But let’s keep sending money to the Ukraine and Israel…. We have a serious crisis here at our doorsteps and we have the resources to fix it. We know where the fentanyl is coming from, but our government won’t stop it, we know who is sending it in, and the government won’t stop them. I have no problem with my tax dollars being spent here to make our country suck less, let’s insist that our house gets fixed before we go fixing the worlds issues.

It is terrible.
And I don't know who to blame those in charge with power.
Are those with free will to chose between right and wrong!

@trotskyaxn4 I don’t know. I don’t know enough about drugs but I’ve heard that when they just stand there bent over it’s fentanyl. I don’t know if that’s correct drug
@Jenny1234 It is
