Finally!! He got his keys!!

My son has been in the process of buying his own home with his gf for the past year. The flat they were buying initially fell though last minute as the bank wasn't happy with the leaseholders maintainence arrangements. He was gutted. They began looking for somewhere else and put an offer on a house in the begining of May. Well they finally got their keys to their new home yesterday. We have been helping them move some of their things in today and they are staying there tonight for the first time, although it will probably be a couple of weeks until they are living there full time!!
So pleased for them. Its been a long time coming!

So pleased for them. House hunting is an arduous trek.
Success is theirs.

I moved a few weeks ago.

I am still unpacking! One room is a mess of unopened boxes and piles of stuff.

I just bought a new love seat, to be delivered in a week!

As I was moving my recliner over to make room, I realized it was broken. Actually, I knew it was a little broken, but as I moved it, it started coming apart. It is sort of listing now. So I might replace that next. But one item at a time!

That's wonderful, Ruby! We all felt so badly when the two of them were being dicked around by the bank. And now, at last! They have their own home!!!

A happy turn of events, certainly!

One less thing for Mum to lose sleep over!

(And I am soooo proud of myself for how I glided into UK spelling there! lol!)
