Stressful morning already but a good stress
So we officially put in a offer on the house without a fireplace. Like I said other than that it is prefect for us. And the realtor thinks it might be set up for one they just covered it up because the last owner didn't want one.
We are going in with a strong offer with a large down payment. When I sold my first house I made a nice profit. I started 3 saving accounts. One for our daughter college education, one for our youngest college and I have a account for emergencies. I started these before I met Joel.
Joel has a trust set up for his boy that will be available for him when he trusts 21. To help pay for his care, college, medical and things like that. He used up most of his savings last year when his boy was sick. So we couldn't really use that anyway.
So I decided to use my youngest saving account for the down payment. One because he's six it gives us plenty of time to rebuild it. Plus he says when he grows up he wants to work a gas station over night because he'll be able to stay up past his bedtime and there is nothing I can do about it. And he won't need to go to college for that. Lol I'm kidding. Not about the gas station he's serious.
The 2nd thing is if we go in with a nice cash offer it would make the payment lower than what we playing in rent. The seller is also leaving all the appliances and the swing set in the backyard. Since we rent we don't really have those things so it would be nice to not have to replace them too
So fingers crossed they except our offer.
