@Notsimilarreally I have a lot of dark wood furniture and want to liven things up a bit, so I'm kind of liking that one myself. That will go on one wall and I'm looking for two others... smaller ones with vibrant colors.
@Ontheroad the bottom one is sure bright and would be great to brighten as well. The middle one reminds me of something I wouldn't want to look at everyday. Maybe it's just the style. Not sure. You have good taste ! I hope you get the results you want
@Notsimilarreally When I saw the middle one it sort of struck me because of the trees being so bright as opposed to the rest of it, but you are right... I don't think I like it as much when I see it with the others.
I am wondering if having a nature scene on an opposite wall would be out of place... just need to find a few more I like and try to visualize all of them in the same room.
I recommend anything that gives you joy, peace or centres you. Things easily looked at from a distance .
Sometimes memorabilia is beautiful framed . You don't even need whole glass and frames - just random frames (usually painted a uniform colour) , and you can frame found objects like seashells , favorite jewellery, anything - straight onto the wall. (Blu tac is great for this )
@lumberjackslam no but I have a friend who owned a store in SF and him and his partners would dumpster dive in the rich neighborhoods and find a ton of shit.
