I have a gas grill.

I have looked at gas outdoor griddles. But it’s not a grill. To me it’s a frying pan right ? But I git an outdoor gas griddle I would still keep and use the grill. One advantage with the griddle is no more loosing burgers through the grill. My brother-in-law got rid of his grill when he got a griddle.

I got a griddle a few weeks ago and absolutely love it. So versatile.

Blackstone sells grates and lids for their griddles

@MarineBob oh so you can switch out. Or half half of half I guess. That would work. Maybe when my grill needs replacement I will buy one.

@MarineBob you can also buy a topper for the grate that sort of makes it a griddle.

Make thicker burgers.

@MrBrownstone it don’t happen much. But it has a few times. Not a big problem.
You use a gas burner? … in 2023?

As a former restaurant cook I would love a good quality flat top, one I could buy from a supply store that is top notch quality, not a cheap thin steel Blackstone that burns everything.
