My new greenhouse in the makings

@Budwick since I will be using it basically for starting my seeds in the late winter.. a small heater at night is all I'll need. For the summer..I won't use it. The 2 windows and a fan will due to help control the heat from the sun.
I once worked at a company where there was 9 high tunnel greenhouses. I have a idea on how and what to do and not do.

@SweetMae good morning! I normally plant about 7 flats a year in the basement under lights... Most of my veggies I start from seeds. Then my craft flowers..straw flowers,...everlasting flowers. 8ft shelves will hold them. The greenhouse is small enough to heat during the last of the winter..so... I am proud of it.

@Virgo79 i understand. That's what a shade cloth is for. The sheets of polycarbonate are for greenhouses. Thanks for the advice. 😊

@4meAndyou Thank you. Before I left my hometown in 2007 I had a large greenhouse and sold my plants at my father's store. I had a huge garden, when I had enough veggies canned and frozen... I let other folks come and pick what they wanted.
Yearsss later... this old grey mare ain't what she use to be. SOOO... less is best! But gardening is my passion! It's so rewarding to me to play a seed and eat the harvest. What a blessing!

@PoetryNEmotion thank you. Its already getting hot.. I can help hold the posts but the work at the moment is for a man. So i am sitting on the porch watching my husband... the 4 by 4s are a bit heavy for me. I am thinking this is the hard part.😳

@smiler2012 well..lets see... squash, cucumber, tomatoes, peppers, greens for salads, broccoli, cauliflower, ....and craft flowers!! ...oh and herbs..from chamomile, st. John's, basil, sage....😁

@Stereoguy my husband and I have been working hard!!! The holes for the posts kicked our butts! Lol.... we ordered the blueprints and lumber is bought and paid for. After we sink the posts...the rest will..should be easy!
