In theory you would purée the hottest pepper you can buy (habenero, ghost, carolina reaper), squeeze out the juice, and put the juice in a spray bottle. BUT.
A chemist acquaintance of mine says you should wear gloves and work under a fume hood with those kinds of peppers. He tried to make a habanero sauce, and the aerosol that arose when he opened the blender made his eyes and lips burn for like an hour.
In other words, you're likely to pepper yourself when you try to make it.

All jokes aside. I would just buy chilli and pop it in a bit of water and get a high powered washer jet and blast em with it

Pretty sure you can buy pure capsaicin online, mix it up with some kind of solvent (maybe ethanol), then you put it into a pressurized chamber, like those you use for construction sites, and spray your foes. It's extremely illegal depending on where you live though. Although if you use it on a robber when you're at home, I doubt you care about that.

@MartinTheFirst Good to know. But, I'm concerned she will try to use the pepper spray as seasoning, perhaps in the confusion of the moment... and then that will negatively affect the presentation. I'm all about the presentation.

@Notladylike if you're comfortable with firearms, I'd suggest that. Regarding pepper spray, it varies in legality by country. But like bear spray will fck someone up. Baseball bat I'd get anyway, if it's a strong one you can cave in a dude's skull. Only thing with both spray and baseball bat is they need to be close distance.
@basilfawlty89 Guns are illegal here too. It’s a frustrating situation atm. Every second week the cameras are picking up people trying to get in. I could try and order bear spray sometimes it might slip through customs.

Some good cayenne pepper and a proper solvent. Alcohol or a ketone will work. Oil based is better. Charcoal starter is a good choice.
Load up a bunch of cayenne powder and crushed seed flakes into a big ol cover pot, summer lightly for a few hours. Let sit for a day or two. Strain and bobs your uncle

@ineedadrink The dogs go off and the alarms go off and it usually scares them away. I’m just frustrated the area is consistently a target.
@ineedadrink Here it’s often organised gangs that come in from outer suburbs usually using teens knowing their sentences will be reduced as minors. New laws have been passed to try and close that loop hole.
