It is quite pretty, even stunningly so but I would find it a bit too fashionable to be comfortable in. Fashion often leaves me sort of cold feeling, but that's just me.
Ontheroad · M
@WaryWitchWandering yep, that's it exactly. Pretty, fashionable and not at all practical or at least for me comfortable. I'd end up never going in there.
Patientlywaiting · 46-50, F
@Ontheroad It would be impossible for me to keep it so perfect, I have three boys and they are all master mess makers.
Ontheroad · M
@Patientlywaiting I get that - been there, have the t-shirt! 🤣 It's a living room one can dream about and hope for... when the kids are gone!
Its not bad if you have bright natural lighting. It would look bad in my space because i have one large window under shade trees. I went for mossy green and grey and dark stained wood. Tried for a rainy day in the woods astetic
Patientlywaiting · 46-50, F
@JamieDeer there's no shortage of natural light, large bay window and patio doors so should be ok.
@Patientlywaiting then go for it!! Its gonna look so lux! Send pics when youre done

it's compatible colors, but the first and second versions of the interior lack small details. i mean, like embossed, woven patterns on the texture of fabrics. the third one has that, but the patterns themselves suck.

if in general, it lacks bright spots. perhaps the occupants of these apartments will be such spots.
Beautiful!

Looks great!

Elegant…

Our bedroom is a teal and white combination currently.

I like it more than I first thought I would - but I'm terrible with colours. It's blue or green or bluey/green which I'm then told is Teal 😂

Wouldn’t be my choice.
Last one is just tolerable because it has no faux gold and the ‘art’ is slightly less motelish
I do.
Which is odd to me, for me, to say.
I dont like gold. But teal and gold with cream walls is nice. Classy and comfortable.
Strictmichael75 · 61-69, M
It’s nice
But a nice light yellow would be nice, more welcoming and a warmer colour with gold
SW-User
They all look like magnolia with teal and gold accents…I’m not a magnolia fan

I let women choose interior furniture… but this looks quite striking.

This feels like a showroom, i rather my spaces feel like i could live in them
Patientlywaiting · 46-50, F
@DearAmbellina2113 I know what you mean, that does look good but our sofa is a dark peacock teal colour, similar to the colours in the bottom photo and the room is currently painted a very bland magnolia, I think a feature wall which ties in the same teal might look nice with accents of gold. ☺️
Strictmichael75 · 61-69, M
@Patientlywaiting imagine a nice yellow, very warm and cosy
Patientlywaiting · 46-50, F
@Strictmichael75 I think that could work, maybe a more muted yellow though, mustard or old gold.
Strictmichael75 · 61-69, M
@Patientlywaiting Definitely
Cery nice all year
DearAmbellina2113 · 41-45, F
I like deep cobalt blue + gold better. But teal isn't bad.
SW-User
I find it rather appropriate. Teal makes almost anything shine :)
bhatjc · 46-50, M
If that works for the room. Then go for it
MrGoodbar · 51-55, M
I'm too afraid I am going to spill something on it
DunningKruger · 61-69, M
It's quite lovely. It's just that I'm so sick of teal.
CrazyMusicLover · 31-35
It's not my style but it looks good.
Ingwe · F
beautiful oooooh
TexChik · F
Yes it looks beautiful

OK by me. :)
Midlifemale · 61-69, M
Gold is back. But its more rosegold and brighter. Much of the hardware on the dark and colored cabinets is gold today. Its very attractive
Patientlywaiting · 46-50, F
@Midlifemale yes I love rose gold. It would add warmth too. I'm still undecided though lol
daydeeo · 61-69, M
I love turquoise; teal maybe not so much. But the rooms really need something to warm them up, some reds or maroons maybe
Patientlywaiting · 46-50, F
@daydeeo I was thinking exactly that too it's been bitter this winter.
Whodunnit · M
It works. It reminds me of the 1920s for some reason 🤔
Patientlywaiting · 46-50, F
@Whodunnit there was a lot of those colours in art deco
Whodunnit · M
@Patientlywaiting That may be the reason! I do like a bit of art deco ☺️
Patientlywaiting · 46-50, F
@Whodunnit me too. 😊
oldercanuck1 · 70-79, M
a bit much for me but then i am more of a log cabin person ,,,
yugimotodm · 26-30, M
I think that looks good
Raymuundo · 46-50, M
Cassandra900 · 31-35, F
Not for me
MartinTheFirst · 26-30, M
I dont like white and teal together, its too cold.
SW-User
Personally I'd invert it, I'd have the green as the main colour with soft gold fixtures and fittings

But it's really beautiful the way it is 💜💙
Patientlywaiting · 46-50, F
@SW-User I think that would be too bold for us, I'm not that brave where colour is concerned but the room really needs some personality.
SW-User
@Patientlywaiting I wanted to do it, my husband would not agree with me, but I think it would be fantastic, this is a screenshot of an example of what I liked..
MethDozer · M
Me personally? Not really. I'd never feel relaxed or at home in that. Too, too bright and cold.
