Why are toilet seats in public bathrooms U shaped but at home they are all round O ?

Its just a style that they choose to buy. Commercial toilets are usually made from the same manufacturer but are used by a wider variety of people so they are hooked up to higher pressure water and have seats that even the fattest person can sit on without clogging. Makes for easier maintenance.
