What needs fixing in your home ?

I live in a large 1925 3 story home. Maintenance is constant! 😳

The traverse rods in my living room and bedroom don't work. I have draperies hanging from them in the living room and I've managed to rip the ends by pulling the curtains by hand. I would love to have them removed, and have pressure rods installed instead, and hang full length ring curtains.

THAT won't be happening for the next four years...☹️

The flush valve kit that was installed on the toilet about 2 weeks ago has a slight leak, it needs adjusting or something. I’ll hear water running in the tank a few minutes about every 30 minutes sometimes.

I need a new cowl on the chimney to stop birds falling into the fireplace and then flying around the living room 🙂

So many things in my house need fixing 🙁

Ceiling needs repainting, which means roof is leaking.

All fixed now, but these damned door knobs keep coming loose. I have to tighten the screws every couple of months. I live in an apartment, so you know they used the cheapest materials.

Not sure where to begin. My cellar flooded last Friday----boxes underwater, tubs floating about. I lost my hot water heater, my dehumidifier, new tread mill.....plus a host of things I have not opened and surveyed.
Not good. Not good at all. Insurance adjuster arrived yesterday to survey the damage. I've got a lot of clean up and replacement ahead of me. Sux.
