Which perk is the best? I have just napped for about an hour 😆

Despite the options on this poll I do still do my job, I promise.

Being able to low key do chores while working. Laundry and running the dishwasher don't have to wait until I'm home, but don't really pull me away from work. It's nice to get those done.
akindheart · 61-69, F
@RosaMarie the same here
bhatjc · 46-50, M
@RosaMarie Agree with that. Able to do some house chores while at home. So you are not stressed out about them when you get off work
Split100 · 56-60, M
@helsbels reminds me I have to do laundry today lol

Starcrossed · 41-45, F
I like having my pets around me all day.
bhatjc · 46-50, M
@Starcrossed That is good you have your pets around you.
Split100 · 56-60, M
also add no commuting time, so you save that time as well
@Split100 I save at least an hour of road time wfh compared to previous. I also fill up the tank a lot less, and that saves $$, not to mention less environmental impact.
Split100 · 56-60, M
@BrewCityBarfly exactly!!
bhatjc · 46-50, M
@BrewCityBarfly That is always best not having to waste gas, time, or money. On driving.
Thinking back to when I worked away from the house, I think that the one thing that I would have appreciated was the dietary freedom.

I don't mean that in terms of grabbing a snack whenever I want a snack, I mean being able to eat whatever lunch I want without struggling to find something that was half way edible and that tickled my taste buds. Living and working in a small town without transport of my own left my lunch choices severely lacking and workplace politics made me reluctant to take food in to put in the shared fridge.

Having chores done before the workday is over was such a blessing when I worked from home.
@MsMiley That is a great side bennie. I always characterized that when in the office, time was spent getting coffee, talking to someone about their evening or weekend, catching up on office chatter, hanging in the break room, cafeteria, etc. All the wasting time things. At home, instead of those time wasters, doing a chore.
SunshineGirl · 36-40, F
Not having to wear shoes. And being able to go out for a long walk when the sun is shining 🌞
Convivial · 26-30, F
@SunshineGirl and the kitchen is handy🤣
MissTaken · 36-40, F
Being naked and the opportunity to do things about the house when work is slow 🙂
I'd say my #1 is the dress code. I was actually dressing for work for a bit, now that I've been there a while, and most know what I look like, I usually just make sure I'm actually wearing clothes (g). Second is minor chores. I'll do dishes, laundry, and some cleaning. That got tougher when my son went 2nd shift because he sleeps all morning and I try and be a little quieter.

Lol I love working from home. My bed is where I sleep, work and eat. 😂
Household chores or dress code.
Flexibility with the schedule.
Im able to focus on being productive with the output, without working at specific times each day.
The travel time is used more productively.

@CookieCrumbs and we can talk. That would be difficult if you were in an office.
@SW-User
That’s a good WFH perk. 😊 We are able to talk when we can, or when both our schedules permit.
SW-User
I don't like the travelling part.
Besides that I don't mind whether I work from home or office.
You should add an option of all the above!!
BeachGirl47 · 26-30, F
Traveling and dress code.
bhatjc · 46-50, M
@BeachGirl47 Amen to that.
Definitely naps - I had one earlier too!
bhatjc · 46-50, M
Pretty much all of the above. But I would say what you are getting to wear is the best. What happened a lot during the quarantine. When people were working at home, or the remote workers now. They get to wear what the want to wear. But what was your favorite perk from working at home?
gdon39 · 46-50, M
I do my job too I just do it naked. What perk do you like best?
helsbels · 31-35, F
@gdon39 Well all the options have been my favourite, hard to say just one. Probably just the time it gives me, not having to physically go to the office. Which allows me to nap, watch tv, do chores 😆
gdon39 · 46-50, M
@helsbels All the above.🥸
bhatjc · 46-50, M
@helsbels Always good to have remote work.
Convivial · 26-30, F
They're all good...
No distractions
PhilDeep · 51-55, M
No energy wasted commuting.
ButterRobot · 51-55, M
All of the above
JimboSaturn · 51-55, M
No commute.
basilfawlty89 · 31-35, M
Other.
I order setting my own schedule and planning for myself or in conjunction with a team. I'm a freelancer, so I set my own hours.
FeetAreFantastic · 41-45, M
If I didn't have to go on webcam all the time I'd be working naked in summer!
