What style of refrigerator do you prefer?

Hmm, French door, Side-by-side, or Freezer on top? I'm in the maket for a new refrigerator and I'm kind of torn between the side-by-side and the French door/freezer on the bottom (I currently have a freezer on top fridge that's been here since I moved in 20 years ago). Ultimately, I need to find something reputable with an ice maker that fits in the space.

Just checking for some reviews on what you have. ☺️

I've done a few remodels over the last 45 years. As far as cool how's I like the Samsung freezer on bottom . But most all refrigerators are the same fundamentally. The fancier to of the line may have more electronics but that's also more to repair sometimes. If look at all in the style you think you want freezer on bottom say, then do you want stainless or nickel finish it just white finish. Then there's smooth surface, textured, brush steel finish or buffed. Inside the mechanics is a compressor evaporator, fan motor and refrigerant lines plus a thermostat to tell your fridge to cycle that kicks out of and on like air conditioner. I think LG is ok but over priced. Samsung has strong backing. The thing is like TVs they are all made on the western edge of the Pacific rim Indonesia etc. Some may be assembled in the US. And honestly GE is what if buy. I lust for the fancy ones but GE is strong employs a lot of Americans and it's easy enough to work on it you do have trouble.
