Is it too early to be buying Christmas cards and gifts ?

@Gibbon It is sad how retail and the media ignore Thanksgiving, the stores because it's difficult to commercialize gratitude, and the media, because they are evil, and the idea of thanking God for our blessings is repulsive to them.

@AbbeyRhode I remember the grocery stores especially at Christmas time all those orange and brown paper fold out turkeys and decorations. The crinkle cut rolls of paper. Various Thanksgiving themed food items. And candy. You don't even see those color expressions anymore in the stores at Thanksgiving. They jump right from Halloween to Christmas.

@Nimbus They're already promoting them at the local supermarket. A taster stand with little dinky mince pies by the cafe, and a sign saying 'Go on, it's Christmas'

Last time I looked, it was September 26th. Christmas now lasts three months 😅
