Not the gift itself, but the card that came with the gift from my oldest sis and her family. It made me cry happy tears all 3 times I read it, and I put it on my nightstand as a reminder I'm doing something right with my life no matter how lost I feel.

@Diotrephes I wasn't doing a charitable deed. I was helping a fellow human being get through a rough spot in life. I never viewed myself as being superior or somehow giving. I was simply helping. No different than pushing my neighbour's car out of a snow bank. Her words were "You were the heart of Jesus when I needed it most."

Matthew 6:3-4 (NKJV) = "3 But when you do a charitable deed, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, 4 that your charitable deed may be in secret; and your Father who sees in secret will Himself reward you [a]openly."
