@Musicman Grifters are usually transients. The weather is getting cold up north, so you will have all the homeless trash migrating to the warm areas.

@Musicman There are “travelers” that travel around on interstate highways and hit crowded areas. They usually move on pretty quick to their next location to lessen their chances of getting arrested.

Be careful of people who work in pairs and one of them “accidentally” bumps into you when they walk by. While you are distracted by the one that bumps into you the other is picking your pocket. That happened one time when I was working as a greeter. it was about. 7 p.m. on a Friday and the young blondes were standing around like they were waiting for someone. I believe they were watching for a man who went to the money center close to the entrance. He went and cashed his paycheck and stuck the money in his wallet in his pocket. Did his shopping and his wallet was gone. I asked him if anyone bumped into him and he said one of those two young women did after he cashed his check. He had to call the police and make a report before the asset protection would let the police view the security footage to see if they could recognize those women.

@cherokeepatti When you say moves on quickly how long do they usually stay in an area?

@Musicman maybe just hit a few stores or a weekend.
