Hunting for Christmas gifts online

Anybody else sick to death of scented candles; bath bombs; throws; wraps and socks as 'gift ideas'.

are there known hobbies you can contribute to? or something they'd like to start? or maybe you could get them something like a curiosity box subscription (I dunno what sort of budget you have for this kinda thing, curiosity boxes get expensive ~$300 for a year and that's only once a quarter). I'm sure there's a range of subscriptions that you could get them into.

@dirge I guess if you start to lose interest in the things that used to bring you joy it does leave you scratching your head a bit.

I like getting gifted experiences ….. but also don’t mind getting the socks I love, Feetures brand 😊
Yes.

I like gifts of time. Things to do with my family. Vouchers for restaurants or days out
Scented stuff should never be given to a guy, esp. by a woman, unless she is AB-SO-LUTE-LY sure that he ACTUALLY likes it. They need to not try socially engineering that.

@dirge I bought her a Kindle years ago but she said the background lighting used to give her a headache if she read for more than a few minutes

@Picklebobble2 weird... the fire tablet or the kindle reading device? the kindle eink/paper versions shouldn't do that.
Picklebobble2 · 56-60, M
@dirge Oh it was a Fire i think. She's definitely a 'technophobe'. 😆
Won't upgrade her phone.
Doesn't want to download anything digital since it often requires subscription and she doesn't think she'd use it to make the expense worthwhile...which is probably true.

You need to start writing better letters to Father Christmas.

Those are definitely not good gifts for guys. Guys want something shiny that we can hold in our hands and play with. Sadly toys cost a lot of money so gift cards work.
