Christmas Joy

I love Christmas.
I have so many great memories of Christmas
Like most people the year has held good times and bad, and over the years i have lost people i love and care about. Despite everything, i still love Christmas, and all that it stands for. Elon Musk hasn't brought it, so as far as i am concerned it is not, nor ever will be 'Xmas'.
It will always be Christmas for me, and as a Christian it will always have Christ in it.

I like Christmas songs but my family got away from Christmas when we started keeping more Jewish holidays.. i was going to go back but some other lady told me God told them not to do Christmas.. i know it's hard to accept and comprehend because we grow up thinking that it's Jesus' birthday but its not.. its just another catholic lie and part of paganism.. they think Jesus' birthday was during succoth or something but who really knows.. all we know is when he was born.. not when.. but i love Christmas music .. as a kid we didn't believe in Santa.. my dad just always read the bible about how Jesus was born .. Christmas is a nice holiday full of gifts and music and food and family so it stands to reason a person would have lots of good memories of it but getting away from pagan influences on the church from the false catholic church is a big deal .. protestants don't realize how deep the influence goes

@SStarfish Thank you for your thoughts. I understand that Christmas has been taken from a Pagan festival. I am not on a crusade, or a campaign to convert people to Christianity. Christmas day is the day we celebrate the birth of Christ. We do not know when that day was, some believe it is likely to be around September. What matters to me is the celebration of Christ's birth. Whatever path you choose to take, please don't get hung up on the origins of the celebration, but the reason that we celebrate at this time of year. A lot has been lost in the commercialisation of Christmas ( i know, as i have worked in retail for over 40 years lol) but for me it will always be a time to remember my saviour, his time on the earth, and the ultimate sacrifice on the cross ✝

I love Christmas, too. Unfortunately my family and friends do NOT...so they Scrooge my Christmas every single year.

BUT I still have my decorations, and I will probably send some cards this year.
